GE Appliances takes home another win as the winner of the “Smart Appliance Company Of The Year” award for the fifth year in a row in the annual IoT Breakthrough Awards program.

The award recognizes some of the company’s breakthrough products and solutions in the smart kitchen and laundry space over the past year, including building on the momentum of over-the-air oven upgrades with Steakhouse Mode and introducing the first-ever washer with built-in Alexa. We keep leading the way in smart home leadership for our customers and consumers.

The mission of the IoT Breakthrough Awards program is to recognize the innovators, leaders and visionaries from around the globe in a range of IoT categories, including Industrial and Enterprise IoT, Smart City technology, Connected Home and Home Automation, Connected Car, and many more. This year’s program attracted more than 4,000 nominations from companies all over the world.
